The story of Sandra Bland will be coming to HBO this fall.
On Wednesday, HBO confirmed their fall lineup of documentaries, including Say Her Name: The Life and Death of Sandra Bland.
The documentary will give an inside look at Bland’s life up until her death and feature video blogs that Bland made. Also, her family and legal team will be shown.
Bland, a Chicago native, was only 28-years-old when she died. She was arrested in Texas when she was stopped for a
traffic violation. Three days later, she was found in her jail cell, dead, and hanging from a noose. The incident sparked rallies across the U.S. and many activists were outraged that she was even pulled over in the first place.
Her tragic death was ruled a suicide, but questions remain from those who challenge the official story of how she died.

Commercial promotions, impersonations, and incoherent comments likewise fail to meet our goals, so will not be posted. Submissions longer than 120 words will be shortened.
