How to Contribute Artifacts or Equipment

ABHM may accept donations of two types of objects:

  • Historical Artifacts (for example, the marriage certificate of a formerly enslaved couple or an original copy of the Green Book).
  • Usable Equipment (such as desks, chairs, and computers)

Please fill out this form, giving us as much detail as possible about the object (its size, age, etc.) and we will contact you to discuss the donation and make arrangements for the exchange. If the museum accepts your gift, we will issue you a Deed of Gift (artifact) or letter of donation (equipment). Thank you!
