2026 Essence Festival of Culture

The 2026 ESSENCE Festival of Culture returns to New Orleans over Fourth of July Weekend, July 3–5, 2026, with signature programming centered at the Caesars Superdome and events hosted throughout the city. Widely known as “the party with a purpose,” the festival brings together world-class music performances, thought-provoking daytime programming, and immersive cultural experiences celebrating Black culture, entrepreneurship, and community.

Attendees can expect nightly stadium concerts alongside empowering panels, wellness activations, and community-focused events during the day. Travel and accommodation packages — including hotel and transportation options through authorized partners — are currently available, along with early-bird ticket offerings. Additional lineup announcements and programming details will be released in the months ahead as this annual Fourth of July tradition once again transforms New Orleans into a vibrant hub of music, empowerment, and cultural celebration.
