Ways to Support ABHM?

The musician has inspired a series of hate incidents, including on social media and at schools.
Kanye West’s remarks praising Hitler and declaring “death con 3 on Jewish people” have inspired at least 30 antisemitic episodes across the country since October, according to a Sunday report from the Anti-Defamation League.
West’s antisemitic rants began in October on social media and grew as he appeared on controversial news programs and extremist podcasts alongside white nationalists. Among other dangerous sentiments, West has spread antisemitic conspiracy theories and engaged in holocaust denial.

Many of the antisemitic incidents tallied by the ADL included vandalism in public spaces. At one Newport Beach, California high school, someone wrote, “Kanye West is right” and “Kill all Jews” in a bathroom.
Swastikas and other comments in support of the musician have been found in other high schools in Massachusetts and Florida, as well as airports in North Carolina and Texas. Some vandals have targeted Jewish community locations, including a day school in Los Angeles and a synagogue in the Bronx.
West’s remarks have reinvigorated tensions between Jewish and other people, despite a spotted history of collaboration.
Comments Are Welcome
Note: We moderate submissions in order to create a space for meaningful dialogue, a space where museum visitors – adults and youth –– can exchange informed, thoughtful, and relevant comments that add value to our exhibits.
Racial slurs, personal attacks, obscenity, profanity, and SHOUTING do not meet the above standard. Such comments are posted in the exhibit Hateful Speech. Commercial promotions, impersonations, and incoherent comments likewise fail to meet our goals, so will not be posted. Submissions longer than 120 words will be shortened.
