Can We Make a Home in Milwaukee: Screening and Discussion
Wellpoint Care Network will host a private screening of the movie “Can We Make a Home in Milwaukee?” on Monday, September 9 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in our Training Center (8901 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee). Admission and parking are free.
Why Attend?
Immigration today is hotly debated. Some say countries send us their criminals, their mentally ill and people with little education or skills. Others worry that our communities spend too much money supporting such people, who don’t even pay taxes. Indeed, Milwaukee receives many immigrants. It has long been America’s most foreign-born city. Is this good for us? Come find out. Wellpoint Care Network invites you to its special showing of this film and a lively (and civil) interactive discussion of these questions – and more. REGISTER HERE
