Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo 2024
The annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo is back for 2024. Wisconsin’s largest celebration of Black artistic contributions to Wisconsin and the word is A TWO month long series of events for art appreciators, collectors, music lovers, children and adults. This is a very unique annual event that features a variety of community collaborations, that kicks off Black History Month!
This year several new elements sponsors are added!
New venues for 2024’s event include the Racine Theatre Guild , America’s Black Holocaust Museum and the City of Racine. This year’s event will feature sculpture workshops at Lemon Street Gallery & ArtSpace, Inc., and curated art shows at UW-Parkside College of Arts and Humanities and Mahogany Gallery & Artspace by Scott Terry . There will be artist talk backs at held at the Racine Art Museum.
Expo 2024 will be chock full of fun, education and community for all!
We’ll be celebrating the 3rd Annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo on Feburay 10, 2024 with the Black Tie Kick Off Gala. Mark your calendars!
Last year, the Expo supported over 20 Black owned businesses, infused thousands of dollars into the Racine economy, and brought visitors from across the United States to our beloved Racine, Wisconsin.
