Wisconsin Historical Society’s Metropolitan Affiliates Meeting
Every other year, affiliates of the Wisconsin Historical Society that are located in the Milwaukee area gather to discuss and address pressing issues facing historical organizations. On May 20th starting at 9 AM, affiliates will gather at the Wisconsin Black Historical Society & Museum to network, listen to presentations, participate in a facilitated conversation, and then go on some optional local history tours. This year, the focus will be on how our organizations can better encourage young people and people of diverse backgrounds to get involved in museums and local history organizations.
Members of the general public are invited to attend and listen to and contribute to this important conversation. A $10 fee will cover food and tour costs for the day and registration is required.
