Risking Everything: A Freedom Summer Exhibit
Experience the powerful legacy of the 1964 Mississippi Freedom Summer with the traveling exhibit, Risking Everything. On display at America’s Black Holocaust Museum from October 7th through November 4th, this compelling exhibit brings to life the courageous efforts of over 70,000 African Americans and more than 1,500 volunteers who fought against racial injustice and voter suppression. Through 16 panels featuring 77 historic photographs and documents, Risking Everything vividly chronicles their struggle and triumphs, engaging and inspiring audiences of all ages.
