Enjoy a docent led gallery tour and explore stories of residents from Milwaukee’s northside neighborhoods such as, Sherman Park, Washington Park, Midtown, and Lindsay Heights. Explore how they survive and flourish despite systemic apathy and racism. In addition to biographies and interview clips of leaders and residents who create transformative change, the exhibit audience will also read about homes, empty lots, and public spaces that were transformed by these community guardians.
